I am proud to say that I live in a city that has some beautiful women
and they were out in full effect at the 2015 WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT EXPO at
the Cobo Conferen
ce Center hosted by
Radio One. The annual expo is an informative event for today's women
providing them with numerous seminars and vendors with useful supplies
and information along with live celebrity speakers and performances.
This year's keynote speakers were television talk show hosts Wendy
Williams who kept the audience laughing with her raw but real talk and
Iyanla Vanzant who captivated the crowd with animated but direct incite
to how to improve your everyday approach at life. Radio personality
"COCO" hosted a Black Men Revealed Panel discussion with actors Lance
Gross, Christian Keys and radio personality "DJ BJ". Then there were the
live performances by Faith Evans, El Debarge, Tasha Page-Lockhart and
Doug E. Fresh who each showed up and showed out as they had the place
rocking. It was a beautiful event, hosted in a beautiful city, in a
beautiful venue full of beautiful women. I love my life!!! This is my
life, the life of The Reel Hustler!
