THE INTERNSHIP

Plot:

Billy McMahon (Vaughn) and Nick Campbell (Wilson) are two career salesmen that while out on a sales pitch with a client they find out that the company they work for unknowingly to them has gone out of business. Out of work and with the bills piling up and with no plan B for any future job opportunities the two become desperate. While job searching on the Internet Billy comes up with the idea to apply as interns for the search engine giant Google with the promise of full time jobs if they beat out other intern candidates that apply. With no computer skills at all the two will be competing against some much younger and talented whiz kids who have been training for this moment their entire life. The two soon realize that it will take more than sales BS to get them through this challenge.

Reel Talk:

One word....WHACK!!! Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson team up again to try and revive some of the chemistry they had in Wedding Crashers but they just couldn't find it in this mess of a movie. If you're looking to get some good laughs, keep looking because this is only good for a few ha ha's. It's more of  a 119 minutes of pitch plugging for Google. I mean are we really suppose to believe that two forty something year old men with no computer skills can get a chance at jobs with Google, heck I will be testing that theory tomorrow myself then. This film you could pass on and wait til it gets formatted for television.
