Reel Talk:

Ok how many times will the Superman story be told? I mean I don't care how many times, he will not get anymore super. Even though this one with the talents of David S. Goyer as writer and Zack Snyder as director, it doesn't tell anything different than all the previous Superman movies. This one is just laden with special effects and action but at some point it becomes just too much. At some point after how they shredded thru New York with the fight scenes, you wonder what was there for Superman to save...LOL. This movie has a great cast, but they just couldn't save this over stuffed action FX superhero thriller. Die hard Superman fans will still enjoy it and die hard action junkies will enjoy it but I say don't be fooled by just the action or effects. Oh did I add that this was in 3D which really didn't matter because there was no real 3D effects in it. Oh well spend your money at your own risk for this one. The best thing I walked away from this movie is that Henry Cavill makes me want to get my out of shape butt in a gym. LOL

Starring: Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Russell Crowe, Harry Lennix and Laurence Fishburne
