THE PERFECT MATCH

Plot:

Charlie (Jenkins) a famed photographer and marketing agent believing that love and relationships are overrated and unfulfilled so he chooses to live the life of a promiscuous playboy against the wishes of his best friends Rick (Faison), Pressie (Polanco), Victor (Riley), Ginger (London) and his therapist sister Sherry (Patton). When he encounters Eva (Ventura), a beautiful but mysterious young lady who just wants a casual relationship with the king of casual relationships, this would appear to but the perfect match. But things will soon become complicated because Charlie will start to want more than originally they both agreed on because for the first time in his life he has fallen in love. He will along with experiencing love realize some other feelings that he has never experienced before will expose him to being an emotional human after all.

Reel Talk:

"There are no perfect people, there are just people who are perfect for one another" which is a good quote from the movie. This is a good entertaining romance movie, with an expectant twist but it is also sorta corny. What makes it corny is some of the characters are miscast and/or they have some cheesy lines. But for some the screen sex appeal of Terrence Jenkins, Cassie Ventura, Lauren London, Dascha Polanco and Paula Patton will supposedly distract you from those flaws. Still it makes for a good date movie that you can cash out to see. It is also good to see Detroit native Gary Hardwick who is a co-writer for the film back on the scene, it has been a minute.

I give it 3 corn dogs.
