WELCOME BACK TO THE "D" ERNIE HUDSON

A local chapter of Ghostbusters along with the SWAT Ghostbusters armed with their proton packs and other ghost catching gadgets were on deck at the Emagine Theater in Royal Oak to welcome home Michigan native Ernie Hudson who starred as ghostbuster Winston Zeddemore in the GHOSTBUSTERS movies. Hudson who returned to Michigan doing a promotional weekend tour of three Emagine theaters (Friday was Rochester Hills, Saturday was Royal Oak and Sunday was Canton), for screenings of the original GHOSTBUSTERS film, celebrating its 31 year anniversary since it was released in theaters and to plug his reprisal role in the upcoming all female casted GHOSTBUSTERS movie that is scheduled to be released in 2016. In between screenings THE REEL HUSTLER got the opportunity to sit down with the screen legend to talk about his role as Winston Zeddemore and his longevity as a actor with over 200 films under his belt and more to come. It was a great talking with him, a cool guy who even at his age (older than me but definitely in better shape) is by no means slowing down and has a wealth of film knowledge. It was good to see the crowd of ghostbusting fans lined up to welcome back home and embrace Hudson who was born and raised in Benton Harbor, Michigan and later moved to Detroit to attend college at Wayne State University before heading out to Hollywood and becoming the legend he is today.

This is my life, the life of THE REEL HUSTLER!!!
