Michigan owned and operated Emagine Entertainment, Inc. is pleased to announce that it will open a brand new movie theatre concept offering an upscale and luxurious movie going experience.  Emagine Macomb will open to the public on December 19, 2014. The theatre will be located at 15251 23 Mile Road on the northeast corner of Hayes Road in Macomb Township.

 

Emagine Macomb has been meticulously designed to provide luxury upscale features and amenities that will raise the bar for out-of-home entertainment in Michigan.  “This theatre is going to reinvent the movie-going experience for guests with 100% reserved seating, a full service bar, and in-theatre dining like you have never seen before. People will be treated to an evening of great food, great drinks and great movies in an incredibly comfortable and intimate environment.” said Paul Glantz, Co-Founder and Chairman of Emagine Entertainment, Inc.

 

The theatre is being constructed wholly within the confines of a former Kroger grocery store at 23 Mile and Hayes Roads but the transformation will be astonishing.  Amenities of the new theatre include:

 

• An Emagine “E-Max” auditorium featuring a floor-to-ceiling screen and the latest Dolby Atmos^® immersive sound system.
• 100% reserved seating featuring luxurious extra-comfy power recliners.
• A full service cocktail bar with extensive wine and beer selections including local craft brews. The bar is complete with an Onyx stone top and a host of seating options from sofas, high tops, tables and chairs and two stone fireplaces.
• Teaming up with the culinary artists from Plymouth’s renowned Ironwood Grill, a chef will prepare your meal in a full service display kitchen complete with a stone hearth oven. Emagine Macomb will serve fresh made-to-order food available for immediate pick-up or delivered right to your seat.
• Extensive menu options including savory appetizers, mouthwatering entrees, make-your-own hand-crafted pizza, along with a host of other tasty options.
• Frozen dessert bar where you can make your own desert and choose your own toppings.
• Coca-Cola Freestyle soda machines including free refills on all size of sodas and frozen carbonated beverages.
• Gourmet Popcorn in a variety of flavors and mixed ingredients.
• Poppin’ Olive^® Popcorn
• Healthy Snacks for Kids.
• 9 intimate stadium-style auditoriums (7 @ 130 seats, 2 @ 80 seats) with huge 48’ screens.
• Auditoriums will feature set back front rows so every seat in the house has optimum viewing angles.
• All theatres will be handicapped accessible and equipped with hearing impaired listening devices.
• The ultimate in Dolby Digital 7.1 surround sound and all 4K DLP Digital Cinema projectors.
• Giant in-lobby video boards showing trailers of upcoming films.

Emagine Macomb will create more than 50 new jobs and the facility was designed and built for optimal energy-efficiency.

 

With the addition of Emagine Macomb, Emagine Entertainment, Inc. will operate 89 movie screens at eight locations throughout southeast Michigan.
