BACK IN THE DAY LEGENDS!
We have a variable of singing celebrities that are blazing the charts today such as Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Rihanna, to name a few. But some years back, the airwaves and charts were ruled by the sounds of such singers like The Stylistics featuring Russell Thompkins Jr., The Manhattans, The Dramatics with L.J. Reynolds, Deniece Williams and The Jones Girls. No gimmicks, no tricks, no fancy stage shows, just their voices that swept the fans away. Well it was so good to see that they still got it as I stepped into the Fox Theater last night to catch them all perform. Man oh man how the memories came back from growing up listening to these performers on the radio or when my parents would play their albums or 45's. It was a good show yesterday with the stage being graced with some truly talented artists who can really sing. And you know THE REEL HUSTLER was gonna be there to capture the moment.
