Under attack and about to become infected they are soon saved by David (Fassbender) an android stranded on the planet from a previous vessel. But it is not long before the crew realizes that there is more to David's connection to the impregnating aliens and their being summoned to the planet that will lead to dire consequences for the Covenant's colony.

Reel Talk:

This is the follow up to the 2012 film Prometheus to which Michael Fassbender reprises his role as the android David from. Sequels are tough and this is one of those sequels (although the sixth in the Alien series,,,lol) that does not live up to its prequel. It actually displays how writers will just throw anything together for the sack of making a movie. This film is all over the place with too many loose ends that just do not connect. Even with the great Ridley Scott as the director who directed Prometheus and one of the other Alien films, it just did not cut it. Not the best way to reintroduce the Alien brand to a new audience. Spend your bucks at your own risk for this one.
