ONE JAZZY NIGHT!!!
I can not tell you how long it has been since I had been down to the Chene Park Amphitheatre for one of their jazzy nights' concerts. The Reel Hustler along with a nearly sold out theater of concert goers risk coming out on an evening that was threatening thunderstorms but actually ended up with beautiful weather and a wonderful show with the performances of saxophonist / flautist Najee, pianist Alex Bugnon and the songstress Meli'sa Morgan. The show was awesome as the trio performed together for a jazzy jam session that had the audience grooving the entire night. I was also impressed how less congestive the traffic situation was compared to when I had been there before, making it easier to get in and out of the parking facilities. This was one of the shows for the theater's Jazzy Nights Series - Every Wednesday at 7:30PM commemorating the 30th Anniversary for the Chene Park Amphitheatre. If you have never been to a show at this outdoor theater, I strongly suggest that you do because you are missing out on a wonderful experience. The off the water ambiance along with the performances of some of today's hottest acts as well as some stage legends on a beautiful evening is an encounter on another level.
