A VERY HAROLD & KUMAR 3D CHRISTMAS
Plot:
It’s been a few years since there stint at Guantanamo Bay, the team of Harold (John Cho) and Kumar (Kal Penn) have since parted ways and haven’t spoken since. While Kumar who dropped out of Med school, continues his life of getting high and wild parties, Harold has become a successful businessman, married to a sexy wife who has invited her entire Mexican family to their home for Christmas. The two young men reunite when Kumar decides to take Harold a strange package that was shipped to Kumar address for Harold. Now that the two are together again, the chaotic buffoonery begins as they are chased by a psychotic Russian mobster and his henchmen, all while they search for the perfect Christmas tree for Harold’s father in-law.
Reel Talk:
This is the third installment in the Harold & Kumar series, and the worst. Unlike the previous two, this one was completely just thrown together with meaningless and over the top silliness. This movie is all over the place trying to grab a laugh or two. And yes you will get a few laughs out of it but that’s about it. In fact I won’t be surprised if a few organizations don’t come out against some of the offensive contents of this film. Was very disappointed with this one, but they can rebound back with some good material in their future adventures.
