I like so many am sadden with the passing Thursday of Aretha Franklin. Having grown up practically listening to her songs my entire life it was a joy and a treat to have captured a brief interview with the Queen of Soul in 2012 while at the red carpet premier for the movie SPARKLE in Detroit. She is truly a musical legend that will dearly be missed but her legacy will live on through her music. R.I.P. Aretha Franklin the undisputed Queen of Soul!
