Plot:
Still reveling in the spoils of their fortunes from the previous adventures of the time traveling hot tub, Lou (Corddry) along with Nick (Robinson) and Jacob (Duke) are having the time of their lives. But when someone makes an attempt to murder Lou, the trio must travel through time again to try and find out who and how they can prevent the attempt from occurring. Along the way they hook up with Adam Jr. (Scott) who just may be the missing piece to helping them solve the case of the smoking gun.
Reel Talk:
Where's Cusack??? It has been over four years since the first Hot Tub Time Machine movie which starred Corddry, Robinson, Duke and John Cusack who is clearly missed in this one. The original film is a comedy classic where this one is just a bundle of over the top stupidity humor (mostly homophobic jokes) that may be good for a few laughs here and there. So don't go to see this movie with high expectations but if you just really are in need of a few laughs, you can catch a matinee.
