MAN ON A LEDGE
Plot:
Nick Cassidy (Worthington) is a policeman who was sent to jail for stealing a rare and expensive diamond from the ruthless real estate mogul David Englander (Harris). After a daring escape from prison custody, he goes out on the ledge of the hi-rise hotel directly across from the office building headquarter of Englander threatening suicide, so that he can gain attention proclaiming his innocents. Along with help from his brother Joey (Bell) and his girlfriend Angie (Rodriguez) he also request that suicide negotiator Lydia Mercer (Banks) come to the site to try and talk him down or help prove he was framed. But now he is in a race against the clock as S.W.A.T. at any moment is preparing to take him out at the risk that there may be some truth to his claim.
Reel Talk:
OK this film has the intrigue, suspense and action that makes for a good movie right? Well it does but it is all been there done that before and very, very predictable. Honestly there really isn’t much suspense about it. You pretty much know what’s going to happen at every turn. But still not a completely bad movie, it is entertaining and would be a good date night movie.

There is a lot to be entertained by here but there is also way too much that we can’t actually take seriously and it actually ends up being more of just a silly thriller that has a good cast, that doesn’t really do much. Good review. Check out mine when you get the chance.
