FURIOUS 7
Plot:
No longer on the opposite side of the law, Dominic Toretto (Diesel) and his family of speed bandits, Letty (Rodriguez), Brian (Walker), Mia (Brewster), Roman (Gibson) and Tej (Ludacris) have decided to just relax and focus on a mild living in the hoods of LA, but when Hobbs (Johnson) gets a visit from a British military spook Deckard Shaw (Statham) who is the brother of a villain captured from a previous caper and he gathers all the names of everyone that had something to do with his brother's arrest, their simple lifestyle will change. With the necessary information Shaw sets out to hunt down the group one by one until they all come back together as a family (which is their strength) and using the streets of their city to ward off the violent and vicious attack of the vengeful mercenary and his friends.
Reel Talk:
The hype is over and it was worth the wait. The seventh installment to the Fast And Furious franchise was put on hold due to the untimely death of Brian Walker but then resumed with the assistance of Walker's two brothers in completing the 15% of the movie that required the star's likeness. With Vin Diesel and the rest of the all star cast intact and a host of cameos which kinda reminded me of The Expendables and how they stack on the cameos, this was an adrenaline fueled, fast paced ride that you definitely better buckle up for. As we have come to accept the action that is over the top it is also very entertaining and of course the acting is corny with a bunch of one liners, but again since the action being so furious you will pretty much just roll with it. A must see worth every buck with a wonderful tribute for Brian Walker's last ride at the end of the film. Continue to R,I.P. Brian Walker!
